Job Description Summary Statement:

Provides technical help and troubleshooting assistance to Customer Service Department and customers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with general technical information and system troubleshooting


• Assist with the design of mechanical and hydraulic systems


• Schematic drawing and design as required


• Provide customers with specific plumbing / hydraulic schematics when requested for installation


• Assist PTO & Hydraulic Product Managers with application problems as required


• Assist in technical training as requested by the Training Department


• Provide drawings, information and suggestions for training employees as well as external customers


• Travel to customer sites to help resolve problems as needed


• Assist the product engineering group in Tulsa as needed


• Assist with evaluating failed products in Warranty (Returns) as needed


• Work with Warranty Director to recognize issues that are present in the field to be kept informed for calls that

might pertain to issue


• Perform other duties as required

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required


• Hydraulics and Pneumatics Diploma or A.A. Degree in Hydraulic Technology preferred


• Bachelor's degree in Design, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other applicable engineering or technical degree
preferred

Experience and Skills:

• Possess a basic understanding of automotive electrical systems


• Computer literate with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) and CAD software (Autocad, Pro-E,
Solidworks or related 3D Cad experience a plus)


• One (1) through three (3) years' experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic components and systems preferred


• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing


• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed

 

• Must be willing to travel


• Ability to work well with others


• A good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of trucks and truck systems


• Spanish language – conversational proficiency preferred


• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or
government regulations


• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals


• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers and the
general public
